Circles

Hello everyone, thanks for your visit. Today we begin a new
challenge at My Time to Craft (MTTC)
Karen has chosen ..... Circles
It would be a shame to miss seeing the DT samples, why don't you
pop over to the blog to see them and for more details.
I have a sq. scallop edge card. A dark green background.
The mat is printed words paper. I created 3 dark green circles
with a Spellbinders circle die, the inner circles were created with
a scallop edge circle die from The Works.
All papers and flowered paper is from a paper pad - Meadows...
by Craftwork Cards - sadly recently no more a company.
Another sad loss to the crafating industry.
Hope you like my circles card.

Use Your Paper/One Sheet Wonder

Hello, a few weeks ago I started a new challenge blog, if you haven't as yet
popped to take a look then why don't you do it now.?
Today we start Challenge  #3 Use Your Paper or One Sheet Wonder.
Please go to Back to Basics and Beyond  Challenges for details and to see the
amazing and inspirational samples from the Design Team.
You will also meet the new members to our team.
The idea is to make a minumum of two cards or make as many as you
can using only one 12" x 12" sheet of paper/card for your backing paper.
My sheet is from a paper pad from The Works - ~Trendy Blue Lifestyle.
I managed to make 12 cards - here they are in sets.

Cards 1 - 3

Cards 4 - 6

Cards 7 - 9

Cards 10 - 12

I know it took longer than a normal challenge but I was enjoying
doing something so different. Remember you can join in even if you
only make two, but we would love to see more. Ha Ha. Have fun.

Sea Shells

Hi everyone, I'm a little late with this card but here it is.
Today we have a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly Challenges.
Silvi has chosen Sea Shells.
Please don't miss the inspiration from the Design Team.
My card is a 7" sq. scallop edge card.
I used one of my Top 5 stamping techniques - Resist Technique.
On a piece of plain white stamping card, made a template
to divide my card, leaving a plain panel for the sentiment.
I stamped with Versamark 4 shell stamps from Sheena Douglass
A Little Bit Scenic - Underwater Angels.
Sprinkled with white detail powder and heat embossed.
I sponged overt the shells with Distress Inks -
Weathered Wood, Mustard Seeds and Picked Raspberry.
Removed the template and stamped the greeting by Do Crafts.

Anything Goes Christmas #28

Hello, welcome to my blog. Today  we begin a new challenge at
as usual, it is Anything Goes # 28
Please check out the inspiration by the Design Team.
Using a round scallop edge card, I printed the digi stamp onto
white card, coloured with Promarkers.
Using silicone glue I added the image to blue glitter card.
Added a Christmas sentiment. Have fun everyone.

Hint of Summer to Come

Hello, thanks for your visit. Another beaautiful day in the UK, but boy
it isn't easy getting the photos taken. I know I should invest in a light
box but, it is a lot of money. Maybe one day.
Today we have a new challenge at Make My Monday.
Janet has chosen A Hint of Summer to Come
We are looking forward to your ideas, the DT have some super
projects, please pop over to see them.
I kept my card simple to emphasise the one image.
Messing about on the water - by Sheena Douglass.
Made by Crafter's Companions.
I watercoloured the background using several Distress Inks.
The image was coloured using Promarkers.
Thanks, see you all again tomorrow, with two more blog
challenges to take you to.

All Dressed Up!

Hello, thanks for your visit. I do hope you like my card, I had fun
making this, I must be honest, this was my second attempt, my first
attempt just wasn't right.
Please check in at Cardz 4 Galz today we started a new challenge
All Dressed Up!
this one was chosen by me.
Using a 7" scallop edge card, I folded back half of the front page.
I used black card to mat the pretty patterned paper from a 12" pad
from The Works, I went in today and there were  none at all,
what's that all about?
The topper panel is cram card, matted onto black card.
The stamp of the two pretty ladies is by Crafter's Companion
Frou-Frou - Two of a Kind.
Coloured with Promarkers and pencils
Sponged with Worn Lipstick.
Black gems added.
See you soon, happy crafting, happy life.
