Autumnal Colours or Halloween

Hello, thanks for popping into my blog.
Today is the beginning of a challenge where you have a choice,
you can choose to enter by creating either
Autumnal Colours or Halloween
Please check out the samples and guidelines at
For my Autumnal choice I created the background with
Brusho powders sprayed with water, watching the colours appear
is like watching slow fireworks, amazing.
I matted onto orange and black card onto a white scalloped card.
The flowers and other stamps are from Leonie Pujol - Everlasing Love
The sentiment is from Crafter's Companion.

I Put A Spell On You

Hi, welcome to my blog. Today sees the start of a new challenge
The time of the year of course has guided us in our choice for the
challenge for the month of October - I Put A Spell On You - Halloween
Please pop and dcheck out what the Design Team have created.
I made an octagonal easel card. Used Distress inks to colour the front,
stamped branches, the house and ghouls. Splattered water for atmosphere.
Glitter touches here and there. Spider's webs, bats, and a large pumpkin.
All of the stamps, except the branch were from Tandastamps, sadly no longer in business.
The branch is from Sheena Douglas - Pinescape stamps.
 Have fun everyone.
For those who do enjoy Halloween I'm hoping you all have a super spooky time.

Quick and Simple

Hi, thanks for popping by, hope you enjoy your visit.
Today begins a two week challenge at
For the letter Q - we have Quick and Simple
For my card I made a 6" x 4" white card.
Patted 3 Distress inks onto a rectangle acrylic block.
Sprayed with water,  stamped the colours onto the page.
Allowed to partly dry, then used a heat tool to completely dry.
Stamped Lavinia toadstool houses with Versafine ink,
directly into the coloured area.
Stamped Lavinia fairy at the top.
Drew around the rectangle twice with a Micron Pen.
Created - Just a Note.
Total time spent once all materials were gathered together.
11 minutes.- that's quick for me and this is simple, give it a try
if you haven't used this technique before.

The main image is a Saturated Canary stamp -
she is called Gothica. I coloured her with Promarkers,
to match the colours of the papers.

Country Living

Hi everyone, I have been trying to get a card made for this challenge
for over a week, I knew for days what I wanted to do. At last my task is complete.
Over at CD Sunday Challenges their challenge which will end on Sunday
16th October after two weeks, is  a great choice.
For my entry, I made a 7 " scallop edge card.
All the papers and main Thelwell image are from a
Crafter's Companion Inspiration #6 Thelwell  CD
I have added Black card for matting, a rosette from Do Crafts
and a sentiment from another CD - not sure which. I have a box
with spare sentiments from many printed and not needed, which I use
wherever I can.  I chose this topper because it so reminds me of when
as youngster I went to many County fairs with my family.
Thanks again ladies, for a wonderful challenge.
