Lavender

For My Card
1 sheet of white A4 cardstock cut to make 2 x 6" x4 " cards
Sheet of lavender card for base of image 
White cardstock cut to mat the cards.
Stamped twice on each card with a Lavender stamp
The only information on the wooden stamp is San Francisco
(I bought this small stamp a long time ago , a bargain buy from
 a bargain bin at a craft fair )

Vacation


We in the UK are at the beginning of our summer break, 
schools are on holiday - on vacation. There are so many things to do,
places to go and people to visit during the holidays.

Steampunk @ MMM



Hi everyone, over on Make My Monday there current challenge is 

STEAMPUNK
I love playing and creating Steampunk cards, you can literally
do anything you like, there are so many elements which look right.
Steampunk can also be feminine , as I have shown with my card.

Materials used.
Scallop edge Kraft card purchased. 
Print out sheet from an old CD - Steampunk
Kanban stamps the male and female bodyforms
Tim Holtz hand - Personal Impressions Steampunk border and watch
Butterfly made with Air dry clay.
Flowers from Poundland. 
Promarkers to colour.
Black gems and silver peel off dots to decorate.

Pretty Petals


Hello again, for the next two weeks at Fantasy Stampers we have the

My card - the techniques and the materials

A white scallop card
Toning card for the background
White card to create stamped background
Stamp from La Blanche - Versamark stamping pad
Stampendous Deatailed White Embossing powder
Heat gun - for the heat embossing.
Various Distress Inks from Ranger
Inks applied with finger daubers.
Vellum torn to fit the card
Greeting from Crafter's Companions stamped onto vellum.
Small die cut flower added to embellish
3 small pearls from stash.

Christmas In July


Yes, our challenge is Christmas In July.
This challenge, at MTTC, My Time To Craft,  is the beginning 
of our summer change from being a weekly challenge to a 
two - weekly challenge blog. We will be back to weekly later in the year.

Sun, Sea and Sand

Materials Used
For my DT sample I have made a Scrapbook Layout Page
Scrapbook papers, chipboard letters stamped with shell stamps
Word confetti
Sheena Douglass stamps - Shrink plastic to create
the starfish, shell and sea-horse in the net.
Small shells and jewels within the net. 
The net is a very small piece from a shower scrunchie.

No Designer Paper


For the next week at Cardz 4 Guyz our challenge is for you to
creat a card suitable for a male person but the twist is ...

NO DESIGNER PAPER
We would like to see you create your own background  paper
or to simply add a design to a plain card, the choice and final 
design is yours. Please go and check out the creations made by the
design team for your inspiration.

Materials  and Technique Used

A scallop edged Kraft card.
Black card embossed with large dots Embossing folder
Rubber over the embossed black card with Gold Metallic Wax
Gold Mirri card and black card to form the pennant
Greeting from stash, heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
Motor Bike stamped onto white card
coloured with a Ruby Promarker and a gold Sakura metallic pen. 
3 gold card candi added.

which for me was worth every penny. 
I added 3d foam pades to lift the circle aperture piece. 
Added glitter to the butterflies. 
Yes, it was a quick card, but sometimes we need them.

Spots and Stripes


I won't mention the weather, for it seems many others are, but boy, isn't it HOT! lol
For the next two weeks, whatever the weather, Fantasy Stampers 
would like to see you create a project with

SPOTS AND STRIPES
The Design Team have some fun ideas and inspiration, we would love 
for you to pop and chaeck them out.

I love  spots and stripes papers, but wanted to mix it up with
a vintage stamp, along with some shabby chic treatment,
I guess this could be called a  fusion of styles. LOL

Summer Sweet Treats


Hi, it's certainly ice cream weather at present, hope your all enjoying 
the warm sunny days. 
Make My Monday are wanting us to enjoy for their challenge

Summer Sweet Treats
and they are currently having a DT Call. Fingers Crossed. 
For my entry I have an 8 inch square Scrapbook page.
taken at a Summer event a mumber of years ago.

Materials Used
Brown, blue and white cardstock
A few strips of paper and card from stash.
Buttons, word buttons, a dragonfly, rings and ribbon from stash
Sentiment created on computer
The Ice Cream cone was made with buff coloured paper, 
I used a ruler and an orange pencil to draw the hash marking
to create the cone.
The ice cream, was created by drawing the shape onto hand made paper
